IU Auditorium present the Chinese Spring Festival Celebration
When New Year’s Eve passes, the Chinese community looks ahead to the next extraordinary celebration: The lunar Chinese New Year, or more popularly known as the Spring Festival. Of all the traditional Chinese festivals, the Spring Festival is the most exciting, elaborate, and colorful. It is celebrated not only in China, but also in Chinese communities all over the world, including here at IU. The Spring Festival is a time for family and togetherness, but for international students who are far away from home, the Chinese Students and Scholars Association's (CSSA) sees it as their undeniable responsibility to gather all of Chinese friends together, to celebrate as a united family. |
